Abstract

The objective of this work is to interpret Elena Vera's anthology De amantes (Of lovers) from the conception of love and loneliness not as dichotomous processes, but as elements that intertwine to give shape to a single structure: the loneliness that is glimpsed during the entire love process, including the peak of erotic/romantic happiness. The analysis of this text was carried out on the basis of a particular hermeneutic where the configuration of the theoretical elements, the poetic voice and the personal interpretation of the author of this study intervened. The subject of love and solitude is analyzed in light of the proposals of Gurméndez (1991), Bauman (2003) Martin Broda (2006) Brando Cabrera (2017). This was completed through the archiving and selection of sources and their subsequent review and analysis.
