INCLUSIÓN DE LA INTELIGENCIA ARTIFICIAL EN LA EDUCACIÓN SUPERIOR EN COLOMBIA: PERCEPCIONES DE ESTUDIANTES EN LA UIS, UNIMINUTO Y UDI

Resumen

El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar la percepción de los estudiantes de la Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), la Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios (UNIMINUTO) y la Universidad de Investigación y Desarrollo (UDI) frente a la inclusión de la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) en la educación superior en Colombia. El estudio se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo y diseño no experimental, aplicando encuestas a más de 1.400 estudiantes de diferentes programas académicos. Se exploraron cuatro dimensiones principales: percepción general sobre la IA, riesgos asociados a su uso, estrategias de implementación en las universidades y políticas institucionales de regulación. Los resultados evidenciaron que la mayoría de los estudiantes considera que la IA mejora la calidad del aprendizaje (92.6%), facilita el acceso rápido a la información (74.8%) y apoya la redacción de trabajos académicos (64.6%). No obstante, también emergieron preocupaciones significativas: el 85.1% identificó riesgos de plagio o dependencia excesiva, el 61.7% señaló reducción del pensamiento crítico, y el 73.2% demandó mayor regulación en privacidad y protección de datos. Se puede decir entonces que, la investigación revela una dualidad: alta aceptación de la IA como recurso académico y, simultáneamente, conciencia crítica sobre sus riesgos éticos y pedagógicos. Se recomienda que las universidades colombianas fortalezcan políticas de uso responsable, formación docente y participación estudiantil en la toma de decisiones.
