EL ROL DEL DOCENTE EN LA ERA DE LA INTELIGENCIA ARTIFICIAL. UNA REVISIÓN SISTEMÁTICA DE LA LITERATURA, DESAFÍOS Y OPORTUNIDADES

Resumen

La inteligencia artificial (IA) ha venido transformando de manera significativa los sistemas educativos contemporáneos, originando cambios en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje, con lo cual el rol docente ha sido redefinido. El objetivo de este estudio es analizar de manera crítica la literatura científica sobre el papel del docente en la era de la IA, identificando tendencias, desafíos y oportunidades. Para ello, se realizó una revisión sistemática de la literatura en bases de datos como Scopus, Web of Science, Dialnet y Google Scholar, considerando publicaciones entre 2015 y 2026. Se aplicaron criterios de inclusión centrados en estudios revisados por pares sobre inteligencia artificial en educación. Los resultados evidencian una transición del docente como transmisor del conocimiento hacia un facilitador, mediador tecnológico y diseñador de experiencias de aprendizaje personalizadas. Asimismo, se identifican desafíos relacionados con la formación docente, la ética en el uso de datos, la brecha digital, el riesgo de la deshumanización en el proceso educativo y la dependencia tecnológica. Se concluye que la IA no sustituye al docente, sino que exige una redefinición de sus competencias profesionales, priorizando el pensamiento crítico, la socioemocionalidad y el diseño tecnopedagógico. Se recomienda fortalecer la formación docente y promover investigaciones empíricas que evalúen el impacto real de la IA en contextos educativos diversos, especialmente en secundaria.
