Abstract

Teacher training today faces a significant challenge: responding to increasingly diverse classrooms where students learn in different ways, progress at different paces, and experience social situations that affect their academic performance. This is particularly noticeable in the teaching of the sciences, because subjects like mathematics, physics, and chemistry are often taught using rigid, repetitive methods with little connection to everyday life. Therefore, this essay analyzes the importance of strengthening teacher training from an inclusive, flexible, and humanistic perspective; a perspective that recognizes diversity as an opportunity to improve learning. It argues that teaching the sciences should not only be about explaining formulas, concepts, or steps; it should also foster participation, critical thinking, problem-solving, and the collaborative construction of knowledge. Based on the above, it is understood that inclusive education requires teachers prepared to adapt their strategies, use diverse resources, work with the community, and assess students more fairly. Finally, it is concluded that inclusive teacher training can change the way the sciences are taught; it can also help achieve a more equitable, participatory education that is more responsive                              to students' real needs.
