Abstract

Currently, the process of teaching and learning English in primary school faces various challenges, especially in oral expression, associated with different factors ranging from the lack of qualification of primary school teachers in the area to methodological limitations leading to the development of monotonous and unmotivating activities. The development of teaching activities is hampered by the lack of dynamic interaction with the language in situations that are meaningful to students and the lack of contextualized teaching resources. In this sense, digital platforms for learning English are emerging as a technological support capable of generating meaningful learning processes through the adaptation and personalization of activities due to their ability to adjust to the needs and interests of students. This research essay argues, based on a review of different bibliographic sources, the impact of digital English learning platforms on the development of verbal fluency in primary school students, analyzing the evidence, experiences, and theoretical foundations present in the scientific literature in order to establish their pedagogical suitability and consolidate theoretical and methodological guidelines for their effective implementation in the teaching-learning process.  The relevance of integrating digital platforms into teaching in the classroom, these tools facilitate constant interaction with the English language and motivate students, as they respond to their needs and interests and contribute to the progressive development of their verbal skills.
