Methodological innovations in language teaching within multicultural settings represent a necessary response to the profound social, cultural, and educational transformations characterizing the contemporary world. In this context, language teaching is no longer viewed merely as a process of acquiring grammatical competencies but rather as an experience of constructing shared meanings among individuals who interpret reality in diverse ways. Consequently, this essay adopts a qualitative, interpretive, and hermeneutic perspective, aiming to analyze the impact of methodological innovations on language teaching in multicultural environments. The findings indicate that the teacher plays a pivotal role as an intercultural mediator and a designer of learning experiences that integrate the multiple realities present in the classroom. Thus, active methodologies foster meaningful interaction among students with diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds; these strategies enable students to construct knowledge through the exchange of insights, thereby strengthening reading comprehension, oral and written production, and argumentative skills.
