Abstract

Today, societies have evolved in all their activities, and the educational process is one of them, adapting each moment to the realities of students. It is here that the incorporation of technology into everyday activities constitutes a highly viable alternative for teachers and students in the teaching and learning of basic skills such as mathematics, which represents a highly complex area, yet has significant applicability in the daily lives of individuals. Based on the above, this article offers a theoretical reflection that aims to analyze and describe the use of technology in mathematics teaching, especially given that most individuals currently have access to technological and innovative tools. To achieve this, the methodological approach of a qualitative literature review was adopted, presenting a review of different sources on mathematics teaching in today's prevalent use of technology.
