In the educational system, teacher stress management allows for a better work environment by reducing the physical, emotional, and cognitive symptoms of stress; fostering teacher motivation, creativity, and commitment, which translates into higher-quality education. This argumentative article aims to provide a theoretical contribution on teacher stress management to improve the work environment. Otherwise, stress can arise that prevents educators from being motivated in their teaching practice, manifested by burnout, which contributes to a harmful work environment, not only for teachers but also for students. This article is therefore of great importance because it covers different aspects such as increasing the likelihood of completing work tasks, improving interpersonal relationships, achieving emotional balance, and improving the ability to solve problems. The methodology used was documentary, which consisted of reviewing different sources, the product of human action in which scientific information was preserved, allowing for documentary analysis, specifying an academic essay, which led to a result on the management of teacher stress for the improvement of the work environment. In conclusion, a teacher committed to their profession and vocation is always clear about the need to enhance their students' abilities and contribute to improving education and society. This will allow them to find mechanisms to stabilize and balance their emotions and behaviors when faced with professional challenges. Consequently, they must be aware and responsible with themselves in seeking and using coping resources that help them manage work-related stress and that, in turn, contribute to their personal life, achieving physical and emotional well-being and mental tranquility, reaching their best and achieving favorable performance in their environment.
